The Beach
Pehrson Lodge is fortunate to have a beautiful natural sand beach – one of a handful on Lake Vermilion. During summer months, the beach is a focal point of resort life. Families gather to swim in Vermilion’s refreshing waters and take the plunge on our giant inflatable slide, build sandcastles, splash around on shallow inflatable toys, play volleyball, enjoy a campfire or play on the play structure.
Along with our popular inflatable slides, we also have a Key Log Roller. This is a fun challenge; see how long you can stay dry walking on the log roll, or challenge a friend to a roll-off!

Explore
Resort guests are encouraged to enjoy our many non-motorized watercraft to explore our waterfront. Stand-up paddleboards, sea kayaks, Hydro Bikes, canoes, paddle boats, and sail boats are available daily. If you’re interested in these activities but are unsure of how to begin, Pehrson Lodge’s knowledgeable waterfront staff are happy to provide instruction. Sunday is waterskiing day!* Whether you’re an experienced slalom master or a waterskiing beginner, you’re welcome to join us for our weekly waterskiing day behind our Malibu Competition Ski Boat. We tow all experienced skiers first, followed by lessons for beginners. The only prerequisites for beginners are strong swimming ability, confidence in the water and large enough feet to fit in the ski bindings.

"The perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake! The staff at the lodge are extremely friendly! The lodge has many sailboats and motorboats to take out and explore the lake. There is also a fun beach that the kids would play on for hours! Everything is walkable on the property. The perfect place to unplug and escape the 100 degree weather back home."
