Join us at Pehrson Lodge for a cozy winter escape. During the winter months, our Grand Vermilion Chalet remains open for guest use. Ice fishermen and snowmobilers enjoy the winter wonderland of our region. Guests enjoy a comfortable stay in our winter-ready units. Each unit is equipped with a fireplace, internet and warm ambiance.
Looking to get some exercise, Minnesota style? Pack your snowshoes or nordic skis and get outside. There are groomed nordic ski trails located conveniently across the street from Pehrson Lodge. Our on-site hiking trails make excellent snowshoe trails during the winter. There is also an ice-skating rink in the town of Cook, just a few minute’s drive away. If you’re interested, we can even help you organize a dogsledding outing; experience travel the way fur traders did when they first arrived in the region.
Just be sure to pack your warm clothes, as we experience some chilly temperatures!
Groups of crafters, quilters and scrapbookers get together for retreats in the winter; it may be cold outside, but our Grand Vermilion Chalet is warm and welcoming year-round.
