Your private, luxury lake home AND access to all the amenities Pehrson Lodge has to offer just down the shore. Summer stays begin or end on Sundays. Four-bedroom/four bath (3 suites) Red Pine Retreat is situated on a level point with sandy beach, patio and fire pit - perfect for yard games! The great room with vaulted beam ceiling, massive stone fireplace and wall of windows showing off an amazing lake view provides plenty of space and unbeatable surroundings for your larger group. Enjoy meals in the screened, three-season porch or on the covered lakefront wrap deck. Lower level family room/recreation room with walk-out to the lake allows larger groups to spread out. In summer months, extra sleeping space is available in an adorable bunkhouse with one set of bunk beds. Two docks with electric provide easy access to your Pehrson Lodge rental boat or your personal boat. No pets please. 

Red Pine Retreat comfortably accommodates up to 12 people, with room for 2 more in the summer bunk house. 6 beds/4 futons in house; 2 beds in bunk house.

Fall leaves on Lake Vermilion

The leaves are changing and cool winds are blowing over Lake Vermilion. Fall is here! We find the transition to fall to be a welcomed change. Warm nights outside are replaced with cozy evenings by the fireplace with a mug of hot cider. Instead of children splashing at the beach, the lake is busy with fishermen, bustling about as they prepare for a day on the water.

Our greatest pleasure at Pehrson Lodge is to provide memorable Minnesota vacations to our guests, but at this time, safety is our top priority. While our communal areas will remain closed until further notice, Pehrson Lodge is prepared to welcome our guests to enjoy Lake Vermilion this season. Minnesota is a large, four-bedroom two-bathroom cabin. This roomy cabin offers the space you seek for your group getaway. It is a popular choice for large families. While it is a big cabin, it maintains a cozy, Northwoods feel. Minnesota has a great view of Lake Vermilion from the top of a gradual, grassy hill. This cabin has a central location. You can easily walk to the beach, the Main Lodge and the harbor/Tackle Shop in minutes.

This spectacular and spacious three-story cabin is perfect for your large group. Mackinaw has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. This cabin comfortably accommodates up to 11 people. From the lower level, you are just a short walk away from our beautiful sand beach. Your group will love the open concept main level, which is dedicated entirely to living space. It features a large living room, dining room and kitchen. This space provides ample seating for your group. Mackinaw’s outdoor deck is hidden high in the tree canopy. Enjoy the natural setting while you view the beach from above. Mackinaw is a pet-friendly cabin.

Situated atop a grassy slope, Wren offers incredible views of Lake Vermilion. It is a spacious two-story cabin. The layout has two bedrooms downstairs, a loft bedroom upstairs and two bathrooms. Your group will enjoy the roomy open design of this cabin. They can choose to relax by the fireplace inside, enjoy lake views from the three-season screen porch or sit in the fresh air on the outdoor deck. The beach is just a minute’s walk away. Wren is an excellent cabin for families and larger groups.
